I prefer the second --- Post updated --- Wait, no.. I don't know, the first one looks funny and cool, but the second one looks more realistic (?) and easier to model.
Wait, no.. I don't know, the first one looks funny and cool, but the second o I know, but the second looks more logical (?). Whatever you want, I'm really indesicive...
I've had to do a bit of a overhaul to fix my stoopid mistake, the new model may be a little wider than the other one. Just putting this out there.
Started as a 6/10 then a month later 8/10 then I screwed up a lot and it went to a 3/10 then I had to redo the sedan multiple times 1/10 and now 4/10 due to the fact that i wanted to have started jbeam by now.
hey, you can start jbeam. I would actually start if I were you, because you would have more knowledge of how it works and stuff by the time you finish the model.
I've thought hard, I will not do any more modelling aside from doors, windows and van otherwise I will never finish the model this is where I shall draw the line. --- Post updated ---
For a first mod, you have put lots of time into this Good luck, and don't give up. I understand that you have restarted like 5 times, and I also think you should start on jbeam
IMO, he should start with the jbeam when he has atleast some basic stuff done like body, doors, wheels, suspension etc.
Technically, I have started jbeam. I spawned the chassis into the game with the front suspension and some wheels, but in all honesty I forgot about them.
So, I'm not trying to be rude, but have you ever seen an actual engine before?... Just for references, here's a schematic of an actual r4 1.1l i4 Or else charmand has invented an all new types of very compact engines. The car has 4 vented disc brakes, which is completely period incorrect... Not talking about the fact it's rhd as Charmand is supposedly a French brand Also, I know you're re-doing the all thing, but even thenn that's completely unacceptable Why does this vent has to be so detailed? I think you'll all see the the issues I need explanation on how that suspension would work... Is that.. Pushrods suspensions with a torsion beam? I'd suggest learning blender before trying to model anything serious, aswell as making researches on the vehicule you're interested in modeling. Or at least how to make a decent polyflow. Trying modeling simpler things might be a better way to start too.
To be honest, if somebody showed me this picture asking what's that, I'd have trouble answering - or said it's a moonshine still.
This is something I did in like 20 mins and doesn't have terrible polyflow and is actually (roughly) scaled to the dimensions of the Renault 4
1.That engine was a placeholder that i forgot about, thanks for telling me. 2. Okay then, I'll change the brakes. 3. There are RHD versions, I even explained it before in a previous post. 4.Not ugly sure about what you are saying about the pickup, because your looking at an old one. 5.The vent was an after thought that still looks decent. --- Post updated --- 6. Yeah I can see all the problems on the old model. 7. That does legitimately need fixing, one of the bits i was going to do. 8. It's really degrading to.see.people judge something you have been working on for months and then for others to join in. Because of this I'm going to take a week off and see if I might as well have chosen something else to model. --- Post updated --- Maybe everyone should have noticed that it was an old model anyway v4 right now I'm on the 6th iteration of the thing that I'm almost wishing I didn't start.
