Change which cars spawn in traffic?

Is it possible to select which cars spawn in traffic? I usually have around 10 cars spawned in when I play, and most of them are 'normal' cars (SUVs, Sedans, Hatches) but then sometimes the Pigeon appears.

Is there any way to make a pool of cars for the game to choose from, so only the cars I want appear?

There are no presets other than "allow any config" which allows mod vehicles and trucks. The only other way is to spawn the cars you want as you usually would then set AI to traffic in the UI menu

 

If I do that, will they despawn when I get to far away? Or will they remain forever?

 

If you set the AI to "traffic" mode then they should respawn near the player every so often like the normally spawned traffic does
