Change speed of AI

I'm currently reworking italy and I think that the speed limit of 100 on the highway is way to slow. How do I change it so the limit is 130 as in real life?

 

The speed limit is determine by the widht of the road, so to make them faster you need to add a lane or make it wider.
You can't set a speed limit for roads.
What you can do is set limits for zones, eg. a city area, but that probably isn't a good solution for your case.

I don't understand why it is like this and even more why the devs never bothered to add proper speed limits

 

I never knew it was width. And how do you set limits for areas?
