Kicking off this thread with a huge shout-out and thank you to the developers. The effort and passion you've put into the game are incredibly evident and deeply appreciated. When I play I often am impressed of how good of a driving/physics game this is. I have well over 1100 hours in this game (probably not counting BeamMP hours), and I recently discovered career mode, and it got me in love again with this amazing game.

I've made a list of some suggestion I came up with. Now please note that some may already have been suggested by others, or are available in mods.

    Income balance
Parcel jobs don't always give that much of money, sometimes even as low as just a few bucks. For comparison, you are bombarded with achievements (especially in the beginning) which all give you a decent amount of money. Maybe those "easy" achievements should not give so much money, but the parcel jobs could reward you with some more?

    Day/night cycle
It would be great to have dynamic day and night cycle. So you actually feel like you've been playing for a while if you see the sun going down for instance.
Additionally, the game could keep track of how many ingame days a player has been playing. With this the player should also have the ability to skip the night by sleeping. This should only be available when it's evening/night. (so you can't just skip time during daytime)
Furthermore, food delivery jobs could also only available at certain hours (like 12:00-23:00)

    Adding different maps
Maybe other maps can be added to the careermode? I don't mean all maps, but maybe Italy or some other decent sized map. The player would be able to travel to these maps either by plane (via the airport) or by boat (via the docks). The West Coast map currently doesn't have an airport, but they could make an exit at the highway near the border of the map with a sign that says "Exit 5: Int. Airport 3/4 miles" or something similar. If the player drives onto that part through a checkpoint, a dialogue window pops up about flying to another map. The player would be able to choose whether or not to take the current car with him/her or just travel without their vehicle. If traveling without an own vehicle, the plane ticket should obviously be way cheaper. The player could be provided with a simple rental car on the new map if he/she doesn't own a vehicle there yet. So for instance a base Cherrier for European maps, or a base Sunburst CVT for American maps. Rental cars could be provided with a minimum amount of cargo boxes, so the player can immediately do some entry level jobs on the new map.
(Traveling between maps reminds me of Test Drive Unlimited 2, where you could travel between Hawaii and Ibiza. Good times)

    Uber/Lyft job
This may need some sort of smartphone device on the dashboard. The player can go online and can accept calls. The car needs to meet a few requirements, like at least 4 doors and 4 seats, and the car needs to have little to no damage. The driver can get tips and a rating, for arriving faster at the destination, or driving comfortably. (less harsh breaking etc)
If the driver has a lower rating, less calls will come in.

    Periodic Technical Vehicle Inspection. (MOT/TÜV/APK/etc)
Either every x amount of time, or x amount of distance, the vehicle needs to get inspected to see if the vehicle is still roadworthy. The vehicle needs to meet requirements, for instance: Having 2 proper licenceplates, having little to no damage, having working lights, and have all the proper bodyparts attached like doors and mirrors etc etc. The car will also not pass if you have illegal mods on your vehicle, like a police lightbar/siren for instance.

    Police in traffic
The risk of getting chased and fined by police if you break road laws like speeding etc. They can also fine the driver for things like not having licenceplates, or proper lighting. They can also fine you for not having a valid MOT (see the previous point).

    Speed camera's
You will not get fined by speed camera's if you drive without licenceplate. So for instance when you get flashed from a camera facing you from the front, but you drive without a front plate, you will not get fined for the speed, because the camera didn't see the plate. However, you risk getting chased by police for driving without a plate. Also, your vehicle will not pass MOT inspection without a plate.

    Licences for bus/truck
It may be worth considering adding a licence for players to drive a truck and/or bus. These can be some short driving/parking courses on a closed parkinglot with cones. And maybe finish with driving on public roads from point A to point B. When the player does this well, he/she gets a licence to drive this kind of vehicle and can now do jobs with this kind of vehicle.

    Jobs in other vehicles
In addition to the previous suggestion, it may be nice to have jobs available where you don't drive your own vehicle, but rather vehicles from companies. So for instance bus jobs can be added, where the player drives bus routes a simple citybus from the buscompany. Or some trucking mission where the player drives in a truck+trailer provided by the job giver. The income should obviously be less than when the player would provide an own vehicle for these trucking missions.
Also other jobs like this could be added: taxi missions, ambulance missions, or tow truck missions.

I would really like all this to be added, on account of the change of day and night, now with the minimum value, time is still going too fast (I have already proposed to lower this threshold to the real value, that is, 1 minute in the game and 1 minute in real life) and thus you can accurately adjust the time for yourself, as you want. I also recommend that you publish what you wrote earlier on this topic so that the developers can definitely notice https://www.beamng.com/threads/early-experimental-preview-of-career-concept.88089/unread
