    whenever I try to get into career mode it just goes underwater and idk how to fix it

    Try clearing your cache first.
    If it doesn't work, try in Safe Mode. If it works, a mod broke your game, search and disable it.
    If Safe Mode doesn't do anything, try to reinstall your game.
