Hello everyone. I was a bit bored yesterday, so I decided to make a concept of a dealership screen for a career mode. All of this was made in Paint.net

    First, the main page:

The cars are listed in the order that they were received by the dealership. You can shorten the list by choosing from either new cars, used cars, or specials on the left side, or having all of them show by hitting the "All Vehicles" button. There is also a search in the top right corner to find a specific make, model, or year of a car. To view the vehicle you desire, you click on the green "Details" button.

This screen will show after you select a vehicle:

The basic vehicle information is across the top, along with the main image of the vehicle below. On the right, there are other detailed images to choose from of the car. On the bottom, there are stats about the vehicle, including mileage, condition, and powertrain/drivetrain information. Under the price the dealer wants for the car, there are three buttons: Purchase, View at Dealer, and Test Drive. When you hit purchase, you automatically get the car without having to travel to the dealer to purchase it. The "View at Dealer" button takes you to the dealer, and allows you to interact with the car (walk around car, open doors, hood, trunk, etc.) If you do this, you may find hidden things (bad parts, etc.) that were not shown in the pictures on the website. Finally, the "Test Drive" button allows you to test drive the vehicle before purchasing it, to make sure it is in good driving condition. Sometimes, however, this option isn't available. Also, if you damage the car during the test drive, you are required to buy the car at full price, no matter how small or how big the damage is.

Thanks for reading. Ideas and constructive criticism are welcome. I hope you like this idea:)

    Interesting concept.
You're probably gonna get some heat for it but I like it. A nice touch to a car game is what this is :p

This almost looks like something you could turn into a good part of a Multiplayer system... Despite multiplayer not really being fesable atm.

I like this Idea, but how would u get the money? And that totally discards the "Freeroam" part of the game. AND.. what about mods? Otherwise, nice touch

It would not totally discard Freeroam, it would just be the Campaign mode or a Career mode. And mod makers could make car listings as part of their mods if they wanted to.

There is a price in the jbeam of every parts, you could easily do that.
But it also means that you can cheat really easily.

No, the used vehicles would be randomly generated just for a certain number of BeamNG sessions, and could be stored in a "secret" location temporarily.

Well, of course I wouldn't have proof, it isn't in-game.

Nice Idea bro, but hopefully you could drive all cars in "free" mode without buying them,
cause perhaps me : I'm playing on a not so good PC and i'm not able to run the maps exept Gridmap
without major lags, and so i wouldnt be able to buy some cars

The freeroam mode would be completely separate from career mode and all cars and parts would be free.

Yes, this would be for any sort of career mode where you start off with a certain amount of money, and you spend it on a used car to use for delivery missions, races, etc. On freeroam, the car selector would work like it would now, so you could spawn any car in the game.
    Also, thanks for feedback guys:)

Now here's an interesting thought I've had. What if players were given the option to be able to buy and sell cars online? Instead of being a game dealership, there could instead be player run storefronts, where they could sell the cars they no longer need or if they need cash. Like the game could sell all cars brand new, but the player run dealerships could sell customized and used cars. This would give players some sort of online stuff, and add an entire other facet to the game, making it both car crash simulator and car dealership simulator.
