So, I was thinking about it a bit and what I've came up with I think would be a good addition to the game BeamNG lacks Modern Cars (I know there's the ETK 800, K Series and Hirochis SBR4 And Sunburst, but it still isnt enough in my opinion) 4 out of 21 cars are (by me) considered one of those modern (ofc cars made by devs, not the community) I think that a good addition to the game would be: 1.A Crossover 2.Modern Sedan (I know Bernd that you made the ETK Sedan. I love your mod, but mod is still a mod) 3.Maybe one of those flat-faced european trucks (For example: DAF) and i probably just gave the guys that are into trucks a good laugh by calling them flat-faced... but I think you know what I have in mind 4.A Modern Hatch 5.An European SUV 6.A City Car (VW Up! For example) AND I KNOW THE RULES!!1 Those are just examples. I dont want anyone to make a VW Up! (or a DAF...) I just want someone to make a car CLOSE to it I know You may feel like an idiot reading this part, but Im trying to avoid a witchhunt here xD
Someone's inevitably gonna come in here and shout at you about the vehicle suggestions thread (I would but I can't be bothered) but I'm going to counter your point about there not being enough modern vehicles in the game. You've said that 4 out of 21 vehicles is not enough but if you think about it, the gap between the oldest and newest car in the game is about 60 years. The cars you've mentioned are all roughly from the last 10 years. Theoretically, they should occupy 1/6 of the car list if there were to be a nice balance of ages of cars. As it is right now, they occupy just under 1/5 of the car list so modern cars are actually over-represented in the game right now
I guess you are right... i didnt look at it from this perspective tbh I also forgot about the game being still in alpha xD But I hope that maybe, JUST maybe, some of the ideas wont be forgotten Like the Flat-faced truck... or a crossover for example (i still dont know if calling them flat-faced is a correct term xD)
