It has the front lights of the S13 240SX, the taillights of the MR-2 and the wheels and roof line of the S14 240SX.
a 45-minute junk for fun (wanted to treat it seriously but my new laptop is touch-screen, and modern italian cars have too many curves so......) And first time trying to put shades on the vehicle. Speaking of the muscle car challenge, still trying to do a not-so-copycat design, stay tuned))
Try not to use an eraser when drawing a fictional car because it takes waaay too much time and the end result isn't all that great. It's one of the reasons why I use a pen. I believe you can do a lot better in 45 minutes Anyway here is smth
I usually copy the main outline of the car from a real-life picture and then re-do the details. This time the "base" car is a F12 berlintta which is really curvy, and I made it even curvier after put those retro parts on it, which made the drawing harder, probably a bit beyond my knowledge of perspective And I like to fix details a lot so that's why I use pencil))) I ain't a master like you that can draw things certainly in one time And a nice painting as always
Using a pen to draw the shape of the car for the very first time, didn't expect it to look so niceXD Going to finish the details and colour it sometime in the future
Quite nice, better than my drawings. I need to practice more only one thing, you need to work on wheels.
I drew the rear-half smaller than it should be. I'm a right hander, so........ straight lines curve up at the end, and the rear-half looks weird
Looks really nice. I'm also a right hander, which is why my sketches are almost always pointing left. When you figure out how to effectively use pens you'd never need erasers. Sure it's cool to be able to correct your mistakes but for me it sometimes feels so frustrating as I do the same thing over and over again. Using the pen lightly at first and sketching out the basic lines is crucial and even if you make a mistake it can easily be hidden.
Another possible design for the main character's car. It's still not finalised, so other ideas are welcome.
