Can't Update Game

I got BeamNG on version '0.6.1.0'. I saw WhyBeAre's youtube video, and he was listing the changes of version '1.7'. I started to wonder why mine is not 1.7. I looked in my files and I noticed I had no updater file. I would be fine with 0.6.1.0, except my game will eventually get outdated for the mods. Could somebody please help me?

I also had to point out that the current verion is 0.7.0.2 and not 1.7. A jump to 1.7 would be an enormous leap.
