Cant fix driver view, angle is 45 degrees looking up

Hopefully the photo shows the problem, but this happens sometimes, two of my cars are completely broken right now, the pessima and the covet. When i switch to driver view, im forced to look up like 40 degrees. Yes i can with right joystick change the position, but as soon as i drive or move, it changes back to looking up.
I can change the up down position up but theres no angle to fix, i cant change the angle at which i am looking, which is being forced to look up.

It happened when i did vanilla mods to the covet, and crashed into something and ever since then the camera angle got goofed...

On the pessima, its even worse, driver view is not only looking up at a 45 degree angle, but its from the back seat. So all you see is the back of the driver head rest. LOL

Any ideas short of reinstalling the game? And if i have to reinstall the game, is it possible to save the modded cars i have?

 

Have you tried safe mode?

yes ived tried safe mode, it works but i dont know what to do next. i have also verified integrity of the files, and i have noticed i have versions going back to version 24, perhaps those could be causing problems?

 

How many mods do you have? One way to test for a mod that is causing problems is to go to your mods folder and take out half of the mods and move them to another folder (Desktop would be a good spot), and run the game only with half of your mods. If the problem is still there, that means the problematic mod is in the half that is still in the mods folder. If the issue is not present, then the mod was in the other half that you moved. You can keep doing this and halving your mods until you hopefully find the one that is causing the camera issue.

 

So i noticed if i have the mode enabled in camera mode, automatically center view on release does make things worse... I was able to change the camera angle on the pessima from the backseat to the front seat, but its still at a weird angle, and then while i was trying to change seat positions, this popped up in the top left corner... how do i change that angle?

OMG i think i figured it out,. A and D changes the angle position... and page up and page down changes other positions and S and W also move it forward and backwards, that must be the problem!

 

Nice! I completely forgot you can adjust the seat position in the game lol
