cant find files and cars wont load all the way in game

i cant find any files for the game, no idea how to add vehicles and the vehicles wont load all the way in the game, like missing fenders hoods cabs wheels and such. i dont know how to fix this. any ideas?

 

Are these cars default cars or are they community cars?

 

default. i dont know how to put more in the game. i cant even find the files to the game on my laptop

Windows key + R opens the run dialogue window. Type %APPDATA%/../Local/BeamNG
Your beamng install should be there unless you changed it yourself in which case no one can help you but yourself.
There is another folder in there which you need to open, I forgot its exact name though so didn't provide it in the above command. Just click it as normal, its the only folder in there.
In here should be update.exe, run it. You may have an update.exe.old instead, right click, rename, update.exe, run it.

 

that fixed the vehicles and helped me find the files thank you. but why would the game crash every time i manually change the graphic settings?

 

Your computer musn't be that good and the last setting cant be changed to lowest
you know the shadder?

Well you didnt mentioned the graphics settings originally.

That happened to me a few times and I never worked out why. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.

 

well i tried the demo and got it to work perfect on my laptop then now the full game is really laggy with same settings as before. and shadows kill my laptop for some reason :/

 

If lighting is set to lowest, and then you apply the changes, THEN go to lowest shaders, it should work. It did for me.
