Hmmmm, looks like a syntax error in the jbeam at the start of the beams section. I’m pretty sure it’s because “beams”:[ needs to have a space so that it’s “beams”: [. I think that should solve it, if it doesn’t, let me know and I’ll try to find another solution!

just a quick tip, dont use subdivision if you make models for beamng, your model is more likely to have large amount of spikes if you use subdivision.
May be wrong, but, I think you should focus on modelling the interior first, atleast the beginning parts, start with the jbeam, and once you have finished the exterior Jbeaming, try working out the interior jbeam, additions, etc.
Okay, well, just take your time with the mod. Let's not have a Sonic 06 with a mod like this. (Off topic, but 06 is a good game...in a way...)
im trying to learn blender so I can make some stuff too... but I took a look at some of the vanilla models and jbeams and read a lot in the wiki... basically the jbeam has got to be very low poly, but still follow the shape of the car. also, you need to set up a few special nodes that will be assigned to the camera. these need to be in a specific triangular shape I can't remember rn and others beams for suspension, moving parts, etc. there is a utility in the root game folder to open and edit jbeams. sadly however, I haven't found a plugin to import one back into blender... what I've seen other modders say is that you can't use the mesh as jbeam. sorry if you already knew all that...

you don't have to model seats, you can take them from the moonhawk or barstow, like on the Eris Coucal.
Oh, i see. If you want to model the entire car yourself, go ahead, i guess it feels good knowing you modeled a car yourself without taking anything from the game.
