Hi there, I have started to turn the Ibishu Pessima into a convertible!!!! So far I have removed the roof from the model, made it a separate vehicle so you still have the original, and have started to remove the roof jbeam. On the To Do list is: remove the side windows jbeam, add body strengthening beams and put this thing onto the interwebs. I have a question, does anyone know what the map that Beamng uses to photograph the cars is called?
You are just altering the JBeam. No need for a completely new JBeam unless you were to be putting a top on it. You should probably use an edge-split modified to rid those shading spots.
I added the edge split after this, and jbeam wise i dont know how to remove certain beams. Thankyou and i will definitely ask around
OK, so I have started to learn some things by teaching myself. Its actually fairly easy but very complicated to begin with. Anyway, there is some progress but nothing spectacular and so as soon as I have more done, I will put some more pictures on the OP.
If this does by some miracle become a success, I will think about doing a ute version as I rather like that idea!!
Add some edge split to your model, so the shading gets better again: http://www.beamng.com/threads/how-to-correctly-import-export-official-vehicles-via-blender.14793/
Here you go As you can see in the pictures i have removed some of the grille and the grille in the bumper
@SuperNoob05 is currently doing the jbeam tweaking. if anything it could be out tomorrow morning (UK time)
