Can you use Sketchup for vehicle creation?

Well my question is pretty straight forward. Also if you can, how would you do it? I am trying to make a special mod.

Searching sketchup on content creation area might give more info or confusion, take tick mark off from search that says "search titles only" to get more results, but of course some results might not be very helpful, so you need to dig a bit.
