can not download update

i cannot download the updateD:

it doesnt download it it makes the error after using the new updater...

in the update.log is connection lost the reason, but why?

please help me

 

your not the only one ....if you havent noticed the whole community is trying to download it at once... be patient my friend

 

From Germany, I am downloading currently with ~50kb/s.

I'm full of hope there will be more bandwith soon

 

lol im getting at least 750 kb/s thats with a 4 year old gaming rid with miminal upgrades to the hardware

 

what hardware you have makes almost no difference to internet connection speeds dude...

I say almost, if you have an ancient PC from decades ago then it may only have a 10mb ethernet card or even lower or something like that.

Not really, internet speeds mainly vary with distance from the next gateway device (with typical max distance of 4 miles on cable) and load. Rural areas typically cant reach the 4 mile restriction so also tend to have dips in speed or in some cases absolute 0 coverage for broadband and have to fall back on 56k dialup connections.

 

I'm getting about 25KB/s. This could take a while

What a shit way to update a game, really. Where on earth have you seen a game that you must go and paste a file somewhere to update?
