I've already bought this game and when I play it says I'm getting 8-10 fps at best. Everything is either off or on lowest. I'm looking about getting "G.Skill Ripjaws Series 16GB (2 x 8G) 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM". Would this allow my game to get atleast 20-25 fps?
    Specs:
    Dell XPS L702x
    Intel(R) Core(TM) I7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20GHz
    4.00GB RAM (3.90 Usable) [2, 2gb RAM sticks]
64-bit Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 555m
    Thanks!

You can't put DDR4 ram in that system, the CPU and motherboard aren't compatible with it. Although more memory (DDR3 that is) might help a bit with loading larger maps and a bit of an improvement to the framerate, it'll always run fairly poorly. A low clockspeed laptop processor and a dated low-end graphics card won't run any demanding game very well, let alone the incredibly demanding BeamNG.

Well your graphics card is probably not cutting it for this game. I think you can upgrade the graphics card though. And you should only get 8GB of ram because that's enough for this game.

You can't upgrade the graphics card; it's soldered to the motherboard and even then the GTX 555M is the best graphics card the system supports.

Low clockrate CPU will always struggle.
GPU is effectively so mediocre today that its not worth mentioning.

Ideally you would want 8gb of ram in that machine, but ram will never take you from 8-10fps to 20-25. RAM is simply a case of if you have enough then its fine, adding more changes nothing. You're a tad low for larger maps and thats about it. Also that kit will not fit your laptop, your laptop is not DDR4 compatible.

Set all of your settings to lowest and it should run, may want to turn off vehicle collisions in the gameplay settings too
