I want to make it so the traffic AI is terrible at driving and will speed, crash into everything, etc. Is there any way I can do this? And yes, I've tried using the traffic tool but for some reason the settings on the traffic tool reset.

You have no idea how traffic works in this game... It's a lot more complex than that

I don't think there are any solutions in freeroam, but if you were wanting to craft a very specific form of experience, you might be able to make it happen via Flowgraph. IIRC, there is a flowgraph node dedicated to altering vehicle behavior, which could be used to boost the traffic's target speed or risk factor (if 'risk' is still a feature. I don't know, haven't looked for a long time). However, this can only affect one vehicle at a time, and won't persist through traffic vehicle resets.

All told, it's probably possible, but it's likely more of a programming venture than what you may be looking for.

I usually just set the AI mode to Random after spawning in traffic, it produces some of the desired affects you're after

Set the AI to flee and then enable traffic, I remember WhyBeAre did this and it produced good results

oh simple, you wait for the next update which will most likely break the ai again

guess you could try increasing the risk value on the AI cars?

As above. Manually spawn in a load of ai. Get the ai traffic UI app. Set each one to random with massive risk. This should work. It's a bit of a pain to set up (I'd like an apply to all setting on the ai traffic tool). But it should do what you're after. The only problem is they won't reset until you do a manual reset.

The other option is to select all the ai roads and smash the driveability up to something high (like 20) and see if that works, but I'm not sure that driveability above 1 does anything. Haven't tested it.
