can an Intel Core i5 3230M proccesor run the latest version of BeamNG?

i dont want my crappy laptop to explode

 

i use an i3 3110m. runs beam fine. lowest settings.
you wont be able to run any ai cars.
as long as you have a dedicated gpu, nvidia/amd, should run at 20-30fps.

 

If the cooling of your 'crappy' Laptop isn't that good, I would advise using additional cooling. There are Fans you can put underneath your Laptop, the effect is drastic. Most normal laptops can't handle long full load times, which can lead to unwanted Overheating. I think it could bring this CPU to its limits, but I would give it a try, cause NG got well optimized over time.

 

I can run 2 cars at 40 fps on a i5-5200u, you should be able to handle one.

 

Your CPU doesn't meet the requirements for even the lowest settings.

Your ram + GPU also matters, not just cpu.
