Is there anyway to modify a cars camber just via the suspension files?

The only way I can think, is go over a jump & fuck the suspension just right. Profit?

I'd imagine Bakasan, DrowsySam or SixSixSevenSeven would know.

    (imported from here)

Depends how the Jbeam is set up, I set my suspension on the DSC Kiwi so I could change one value and it'd change the camber, not all the official vehicles have it.
As far as I can remember, I only saw it on the Covet..

On my DSC Kiwi, it's line 144 on both front and rear suspension Jbeams. :)

EDIT: If it doesn't have it, you could always adjust a few beams etc.

Depending on the suspension setup, camber can be added by lowering the vehicle. The Ibishu Covet uses double wishbone suspension, which naturally gains negative camber as the suspension is lowered, especially on the back. Live axles however cannot have camber (unless you bent the axle, which is not a good idea), So the Grand Marshal or Moonhawk can't have any rear camber (unless you IRS swap:)) Another way to change the camber on a double wishbone setup would be to make the lower arm longer than the upper arm, by either lenghening the lower arm, shortening the upper arm or both.

Changing the angle of the hub would add a fixed amount of camber throughout the suspension travel, and for a MacPherson strut suspension, moving the top mount inwards is how it's done:)

You can simply use beamPrecompression on the upper arm (assuming double wishbone) to induce positive or negative camber. 1 is neutral, below 1 is negative camber, and above 1 is positive camber. You can see it in use on some of my cars.

I really hope in the near future we get a simple tool that we can use. Through the parts editor or world editor.

Should be noted that this only happens if the lower arm is longer than the upper arm. This is usually done on purpose just to gain that effect though, although the covets rear lower arms really are alot longer than the upper arms :p The covet rear wheels also bump steer pretty bad.

I hope sometime in the future we get sliders and such to adjust things like camber, toe, ride hight, gear ratios, diffs, etc. like in forza, because that would be awesome, also, it would be cool to have a paint and decal/skin editor like in forza.

just some suggestions that are mildly on topic.

Yep, the upper arm (when used) is almost always shorter than the lower one, so the wheel gains negative camber as the suspension compresses, as this extra camber helps keep the wheel level during cornering.

does anyone know the exact areas (Values ECT.) that need to be changed in order to get decent camber?
