This is my first attempt at modding. chinese-spec byd tang, After 2 months of work, now it looks like this It still have no LCD gauges unfortunately because I haven't learned how to make it yet. and very sorry i cant post it instantly cuz a lack of uv maps at body suspensions, etc. This vehicle has recently been introduced to the Euro market, and i hope you like this xd
Damn, that looks nice! Best of luck for the future, I'm excited to see what comes out of this! (1,000 messages!)
This is a star car in Norway, and you can see all kinds of BYD Tang in the street. Perhaps in the coming years, it will also become common on the road of other European countries.
Hi, For a first attempt at modding this looks quite nice! I have a strange addiction to Chinese cars myself, currently modding a Forthing T5 EVO. One thing I seem to notice from pictures, it looks to me like it's sitting a bit too low off the ground- maybe try raising the springs some? If you need any help I wouldn't mind lending a hand
probably would take a while, since EV's in general don't sell well here, so at first chinese cars could struggle a bit, unless they decide to make more ICE cars, kind of like MG and BAIC are doing
Electric cars in Latin America and Mexico are extremely rare in general, so. Anyway, it's nice to see another Chinese car in BeamNG.
However, it has been less than two years since China brands exported their cars to the European market on a large scale.(„ಡωಡ„) It is amazing to achieve such a large market share in two years! I wouldn't be surprised if I saw many China cars running on the streets of Western Europe in five years.(●• ̀ω•́ )✧
wow, thanks!its really looks a bit“lowrider” and i had raised the spring yesterday.well, there still much work to do to make it qualitify enough just like textures.btw may i ask how you solve your full-LCD gauges? --- Post updated --- Yeah,of course
Inside your interior jbeam you'll find a path like this You need to make sure to have the cherrier_navi_screen.html file from the Vivace, for the sake of organization I put mine in a folder called gauges_screen and renamed it to just 'navi_screen' Additionally, you'll need the @(Your Car)_gps_screen to be mentioned as the colormap of your material: Spoiler: Material }, "dfengt5evo_gps_screen" : { "name" : "dfengt5evo_gps_screen", "class" : "Material", "persistentId" : "cef62e79-05fc-46dc-87fa-b87c17f9635f", "Stages" : [ { "colorMap" : "@dfengt5evo_gps_screen", "emissive" : true, "specularMap" : "vehicles/common/null.dds", "specularPower" : 32, "useAnisotropic" : true }, {}, {}, {} ], "castShadows" : false, "mapTo" : "dfengt5evo_gps_screen", "materialTag0" : "beamng", "materialTag1" : "vehicle" }, Result with some modification to the HTML:
The DM(PHEV version) bumper. It's just an outlook now,and I manage to make the hybrid powertrain based on Arcanox.btw anyone who knows about this can give me some help, thanks! --- Post updated --- Sadly, even though I had raised the spring,it still hasn't correct ground clearance.even i add metalic and normal map just like higher-detailed mods, the interior is still low-quality and i feel helpless.
