Bugatti Tourbillon by 3D artist Dartan With the help of my good friend, we've created a detailed model of the vehicle that you see here: The mesh has improved since these photos were taken... He mostly handled the mesh, while I brought it to BeamNG. It was a challenging project right from the beginning—from the lack of simple images of the car to my 15-year-old laptop, which I had to configure the mod on... It's done now, and it will be published very soon. Make sure to visit our ArtStation for high quality renders. October 30th, v0.5.0 release The add-on is published on Patreon of the creator. Currently it only packs a single-config of the Tourbillon. Nodes & beams are decent on the sides & back of the car (The front fenders have to be reworked): The mod is created and tested on BeamNG v0.32 If there happen to be any issues on newer versions of the game, please contact me with a copy of the error logs. Known Issues Spoiler 1. Not the best in class hybrid system deployed... 2. Electric motors of front won't reverse (#1). 3. The traction control might be unresponsive for the initial acceleration on the front axel. 4. Doors & the frunk are not interactable yet! 5. Gauges don't show an accurate value. - Most if not all of these issues stated above will be fixed in the upcoming updates. FAQ Spoiler - Is it a hybrid? Yes, two e-motors on the front axles & one assisting the V16 on rear. - How's the interior of the car modeled? It's fairly detailed, but some sections don't exactly match the real thing (The mesh will be updated when better photos of its interior are out). - Does it actually sound like the Tourbillon? Pretty close; there might be improvements. - Top speed? About 483 KpH (300 Mph). - Where can I find the 3D files? It'll shortly be uploaded on the Sketchfab of the creator. - Why is it paid anyway? Well, I've answered it in a new thread.
Looks decent, excited for this to be published Edit - I regret saying above, £20+ for a crappy model is ridiculous and I'm embarrassed to be apart of this community thanks to people like you.
This has been sitting on the desk for quite a while... We want to charge for the mesh, but we still haven't decided where to upload it. --- Post updated --- Thrilled to hear you're excited!
Could you maybe show topology of the model? and give out some better pictures preferably without the reshade or whatever u got, so it's possible to see the actual car body lines and details. And also some interior pictures, if you want to sell something, first convince your customer its worth it
Yes, it will! Will share some renders of interior on ArtStation: artstation . com / dartan --- Post updated --- There's a good chance that we'll upload the model on SketchFab before the mod's publication; aside from that, there surely will be updates to the mesh. We haven't decided on the release platform yet; otherwise, it's ready to be published.
That's illegal. You cannot charge money for a mod using copyrighted materials. You open yourself and possibly BeamNG to lawsuits.
while yes that is true...no one has taken any action yet on it, and if they would id think the brands would go after bigger paid modders (kemination, I am the law) so yes it could happen I believe that it is very unlikely
That doesn't make it right still. That's like saying It's okay for me to kill someone as long as I hide the body
