Bruckell Moonhawk Muscle (imported from here) Okay here's my first mod. Its a Moonhawk Muscle, this car looks like it would be a 70's muscle car. What has changed: Extended side fenders, added nose on top of hood. What's is been worked on: A Supercharged V10, Changing some colours in the engine, Changing some colours in other parts of the car, Some more body work, And More!
Oh man beautiful! the hood scoop and fender flares look great on the Moonhawk! Thanks for creating this for us Holland, can't wait to take it for a spin
Thank you and your welcome. Boy you will do way more than a spin, it'll spin you around. Give me a week or less and the keys will you be yours. (well a copy anyway)
haha sounds good! Any plans for a rear wing? Nothing huge, just a little lip, like Sams' FT40. Would look pretty good I think. A sun roof would be pretty awesome too
Thanks, yeah I'm making a big change atm. When I'm done I'll post it up. I might take that ideal, a sun roof, not a bad one.
do you know how to fix the smoothing? i could tell you if you dont know how. Oh and by the way, the car look amazing!
Fix the smoothing, model the added parts properly and use stock bumpers and move the wheels(both the mesh and the n/b) out properly... Then it might get somewhere(bit like an old Nascar). If you model a proper cowl induction hood it might look half decent with fixed smoothing... Right now all you did was move some polygons... I'm sorry and I'm sure some kid will call me a hater, but, honestly, you really just completely ruined it :/ Please get some more experience modding vehicles and creating parts before you start posting them on the forum :/ EDIT: Also... "An AWD w/RWD supercharged V10" Really...? It's either AWD or RWD, it's not AWD with a RWD engine... A RWD engine isn't something that exists. *sigh* Plus there's no driveshaft to the front wheels so there's no way it's AWD anyway.
Relaax Mythbuster, You have high standards, I understand that. I've seen your Cadillac, its fantastic. But still, why can't there be vehicles of lower quality on the forums? I bought this game because of the brilliant game mechanics AND the many interesting projects brewing on these forums. Diversity is what makes this game (and made RoR) special, and infinitely replayable in my opinion. Where lies the problem in letting people post the things they make, if there clearly exists an interest. It doesent affect the high quality vehicles that already exists.
Ditch the bumpers and I'll take it. I love the fender flare though, makes it looks a lot cooler. Haha, just looking at the pictures I already know what I want to do with it. Tint those windows, conservative drop and maybe a classy texture of some sort..
I have to agree with Mythbuster. Although I do like the fender flares, I don't like the front bumper. Also, the hood doesn't look right; see Mythbuster's picture to see what I think it should look like. Still, I do see plenty of potential in this mod, and this is a good start Keep it up, Holland
I gave him some tips to improve it... I knew someone was gonna comment exactly what you said, but without critique, people will never learn and get better, honestly, trust me on that. There's certainly potential in what Holland is trying to do. With the right skill it could be made into an old/retro Nascar racer, probably, using the same sort of design: wide fenders, cowl induction hood, big fat tires... It could be cool, that's why I posted in the first place, but I also said he(and with him, some other guys on here with cool thoughts but little experience) should get some more experience so that all these interesting projects can actually be executed better. I'm sure everyone will only benefit if the interesting and funny and quirky projects(I love those, honestly) are high quality too: If you work on it some more, it'll become better. That's just a rule for every single thing you do in life
I'll jump in and say it looks like a 2 minute job. /hate (Holland, you can do better than this. This is something for practice, not release IMO.)
That is a definite improvement. In response to the post below by Holland: yes, I realize it's WIP for a reason, but (just like on Sam's 911) it could use some more touch-up work before release. The effort shown in the model was very evident, however . All I'm saying is that it needed some touch-up work before the release. Also, the picture posted by Mythbuster (the old Nascar race) would be a nice car to base this off of
Wow, I leave for a few hours and come back this. First thing to you all, I'm glad others can make a better hood, and better fenders and such, but did any of you read the title at all?! It says WIP what does WIP mean, work in progress I'm sure many of you know, I said there will be more. And also I have a low percentage on 3D modeling, I'm learning as I'm typing this, and yes Tom, I said AMD w/RWD for a reason why, and one can have the option of choosing a RWD or AWD, and because I wanted to change the drive chain a little. And also I thank all you for this thread, that has now become a [HOLD], not much encouragement coming here, just negative, and I know I screwed up in allot of areas, but I'm still learning. And thanks Tom for that image, I will try to restart and take your advice. ............................................................
This was Hollands first mod, he gave it a pretty good attempt, I know he spent hours into this trying to figure everything out. Although I do agree it wasn't quite up to scratch. This is why I'm helping him out, we're both going to work together on this so I can help him out. We have started from scratch and we're here at the moment. (imported from here)
I like the new version, though the hood bulge looks a little weird. In my opinion, an intake or cowl induction hood would look better.
I plan to make the car's base close to that picture. And its not released yet, so touch up work shouldn't even be brought up, I know there's plenty of that to do.
