I didn't see a Brick Rigs thread, so here is a place you can share builds, screenshots, building techniques, and vent about the community I hope someone finds this...
I bought Brick Rigs a few days ago, so I haven't really grasped the editor yet, but I thoroughly enjoy downloading replicas of cars and thrashing them around. From day 1, I found that the RP servers are just full of little kids trying to crash it, so I mainly stick to the Zombie Survival mode, which I prefer anyway! In the coming weeks, I'll try to learn more about the editor, and maybe build a drag car.
I dunno. Most of the time people dont go through the "Other Games" section, Might become a nuclear wasteland just like my Minecraft and gran turismo threads
So Guess i'll explain my gameplay from last friday So i was a criminal in a red car trying to attack a armored truck that was in godmode ( yes , sounds dumb but it was for fun ) but then it backed up Into me , crushing almost all my car . I had to leave it and then i Saw a criminal in a free Candy van . We teamed up together and we leaved the tiny town ( Map was bricksville and we were in the tiny "village" near the city ) . When we leaved , some people spawned rusty armored cars like it was the apocalypse and down the village we Saw one of them destroyed. We tryed taking out "the armored truck that was in godmode" again and when we looked for it , i Saw in the chat the police forces saying that the Candy van ( us ) was bothering them , and then, one of them Said that he'll be dealing with us , so i felt like they were preparing something. When we were about to attack it , i Saw it parked , immobile , so i thought it was the oportunity to steal it . But when we started the attack, it gone backward , turns out that there was still a driver in it . Part 2 later if you want it.....
Good Point --- Post updated --- This post perfectly sums up the community of this game (most of the community) People making poorly managed RP servers, run without any rules, turns into a shit show, causing the police (the only ones trying to RP) to do their job. Whilst some 6 year old spawns a meteor crashing the server. That is the reason most sane players stick to conquest or zombie survival, most of the are veteran players getting away from the Camodo Gaming influenced 5 year-old's who like Brick Rigs Siren Head Sorry about the small vent, I've had more than a few bad experiences
Well , beside the armored truck being in godmode and the apocalypse in the tiny town, wich ended up fast , it was family RP Plus , i wasn't so RP back in the days when i started playing it .
Brick rigs is just a child magnet nowadays, you will not find a server without a 5 year old or a troller trying to crash everything. If you play single player then its pretty much fine
I was actually part of a failed anti-toxicity movement last summer (BRAT). It started off strong, but it almost seems like the community became too aware of what we were trying to do, which, at first, wasn't a bad thing until the group thread devolved into a bunch of arguments. Needless to say, the entire thing went up in flames within a matter of weeks, but it was certainly worth a try.
Something i'm proud of is that RP hosts have figured out something smart : a password in the rules so we Can see 6years old who didn't read the rules.
Most RP servers where i went were not FRP so far With one exception : There was a specific server , with specific peoples, who showed personnal tuned version of other's car creation. It has hapened today and yesterday At one point , i started myself to this .
