Brakes applying themselves?

for some reason the brakes are applying themselfes without user input, is this a bug or a feature or is my game just broken?

If you are using arcade mode, the game will apply brakes to avoid rolling away.

also the ETK cars have auto brakes. This is a feature of most new cars have this after a crash

You need to change Transmission type by pressing "Q" on your keyboard to "Realistic"
