Greetings This is my take on making a replica of the famous iconic M3 GTR from NFS MW 2005. I know there are better mods out there in terms of detail and sound, but i personally didn't like how they handle (especially) their performance and stability at high speeds, so i decided to add my own touches to the vehicle for those who wants to enjoy on having a better grip - downforce, and top speed It is 99% made from Automation, the remaining 1% is the engine sound being recorded and edited on all RPM range for a certain version of the vehicle. Currently it is in an acceptable condition until (maybe) i decide to improve it later on. The vehicle doesn't have an interior at the moment cause frankly it is frustrating and takes too much time and care to make it accurate, but you can add an interior if you'd like to cause - Here is the catch: The car.dat file is inside the mod for anyone to make changes for whatever is necessary to meet their needs X) Just to be clear - this is made through an older version of Automation (LCV4.2 Final Version) cause i personally don't like the changes made in the latest version (specifically) the physics of engines and performance aspects. I hope this will - at least be worth your time Enjoy! There are two versions at the moment: 4.0L Flatplane V8 OG Version: This has a replica of the original sound of the car in NFS MW 2005. Except the idle and (near idle) which is recorded from a real M3 GTR race car. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T7X3iXK4RP8i2eRbTSOiTAsyDLCN5jdf/view?usp=sharing 4.9L Crossplane V8 Version: This uses a similar sound you hear in the intro of NFS MW 2005. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XU0IYgikah_XX-SRECxJQNQ9ZXEA_Sci/view?usp=sharing
Darn ... this is confusing LOL There is a solution - i'll report this post so that the moderators will transfer it to the right place.
That's what i actually used but the headlights dark internal edges will be exposed under light reflections which will ruin the look of the car so i had to darken the internal edges to hide that issue XP Maybe i'm not interpreting your feedback correctly XP
I know XP I tried what i could based on my limited knowledge at that time. I don't know if i can make it way better than that in the future, but for now - this is in (acceptable) state as far as i can pull off X) It is still a (replica) not a 100% identical which is not easy to manage without using several techniques which i still didn't master yet.
