Hey all, Trying to learn slowly and tediously the correct and proper process to even start to understand all those daunting buttons and sliders and values and empty grid that shows up once you (for the first time) download and start up Blender. Im totally interested in learning how to model cars and such, and had a hard time for the last few weeks learning much of anything, since a lot of the tutorials are either too speedy, in video format (which I don't care much for, hard to follow), or just didn't cover any of the basics, such as panel navigation, hot keys, etcetera. I came across this helpful little wiki book, and so far, its a great read and is clearly written in proper English, and is just a really nicely laid out and thought out "tutorial", even though its basically almost a software manual. But feel free to take a look, I obviously take no credit for anything IN the book, however I feel its a great idea and a good way to show people that may display some interest in modeling, an easy to follow way to learn this extremely in-depth program. So with that, I leave you with the link Hope this helps some of you guys out who post TONS of questions, like "How do I make a car in Blender?" or "Can you make an offroad edition?"...Now maybe you can make it yourself!!! haha NOTE: This is VERY detailed, take your time reading it, I only got through a handful of "chapters" and there seems to be a ton of them. So grab a beer, or a soda pop (if your under 21) and have at it. Its keeping me occupied at work at least lol http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro
