Hello, I have just started map modding in Beamng and I've encountered a really annoying bug that I'm unable to fix.
PROBLEM: Whenever I try to create a new PBR Material a black texture shows up covering the whole terrain and completely breaking the World Editor so that you cannot revert changes, change or delete the texture and you're forced to close the game.

Here's an image of the situation.
As you can see, everything is properly set up:

    • Texture Sizes are set correctly (Texture is 4096x4096)
    • Texture loads on the preview
    • Changes have been applied and the material has been added to the terrain painter
    • I'm using png. images
    What am I doing wrong?

    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

It was just as easy as adding an Ambient Occlusion map for your texture so that it can be seen!
    As simple as it sounds.
Then you should also make sure that every texture you use for the same Terrain is same dimension, otherwise it'll show up black as well.
It was just a silly mistake that I finally figured out!
