Beam Hot Rod Assosiation Drag Racing Championships Sponsors: Doc's Garage, Turbo Spools & Car Pools: The Podcast Hello and welcome to the first BHRA Drag Racing Championship, below there will be a list of rules, how the championship works, the classes of cars allowed, and what to look forward to in the future! How it works: There will be a two week lead time before the first round of races begin, you can use the two weeks until the first round to test your vehicle and register it, once the vehicle is registered, you may not alter any high output mods, such as higher nitrous shots, better superchargers, changing the gear ratios, etc. You may tune suspension, tire pressures, and weight distribution while in the "paddock" after registration. No last minute changes are allowed, if you wish to register two or more vehicles, message the race lead (Dr. Balbarian) to get an okay. ASK QUESTIONS! Do not be afraid to ask questions, I hold the right to kick you out of the competition for any violation, if you are at all confused or want to clarify, ASK! The races will be based as essentially a 1/4 mile time trial event. Where: The track to use is the Austrian Drag Strip by TheGameLix2 Rules: No Automation vehicles allowed. Indestructible engine block mods are prohibited. Super radiators are prohibited. All cars under 9.50 or fastter than 135 mph require rollcages. Every convertible vehicle requires a rollbar. Drag Racing Classes: Pro Stock "Factory Hot Rods" which have a resemblance to production based models, Pro Stock cars are technologically advanced machines which are built around a tube chassis with four link rear suspension, Pro Stock cars must conform to the minimum weight of 2,300 lbs, the engine is restricted to no more than 500 cubic inches. Super Stock Super Stock vehicles may look like any ordinary vehicle, but have been highly modified into race cars. These cars are permitted to have significant engine mods, but the vehicle must retain the factory engine block, cylinder heads, and carburetor or EFi system. Breakout rules are enforced. Stock Stock vehicles are strictly enforced when it comes to any mods. The car must retain the full factory interior, may not use slicks, the engines must have the stock block, heads, with only light performance advantages, carbs or EFi systems can be upgraded. Nitrous is prohibited in this class. Extra Info: Mods in which give you more tuning options in the motor are allowed, but do state this when registering. All vehicle mods are allowed, just as stated in the rules, Automation cars are prohibited, along with indestructible engine blocks and super radiators.
