Outdated Better Sounds Mod [5.1.1] works with 0.18.0.1

Does this work with the latest update now that the Repository version is compatible?

 

Hi, I'm sorry this version does not work with the latest update
The code is messy and unoptimized and it's also way harder to update, I am not planning to update the forum version, however if you feel like you can update it yourself feel free to do it

 

So I was bored I felt like updating the mod. I improved performances a lot (which is cool).

I fixed a bug with water sounds particles and tire smoke

 

The sirenmod.zip breaks all the vehicles in game.

 

I was putting the zip in the mods folder only not the folder but i will try doing that.

Love this mod. Is there any way to add your dirt sound back? I really liked your gravel sound, compared to the one in game

 

I would like to but it would take some times for something that is already in the game, the mod is not likely to change

Hi. I noticed that Better Sounds Mod breaks the shatter particles added in 0.18.0.0. I'd like a fix on that
I really like what this mod brings to the game, especially the water splash effects!

EDIT: I don't have any problem on my side ? Did you checked you don't have two version installed, that it is up to date (5.1.1)

 

Oh, might be so that 5.1.1 fixed it. Sorry, should have tried the newest version out first works for me now.

long time no see. so are we able to change the alarm audio file for a custom alarm sound?

 

Sure open the mod .zip and go to \art\sound\alarm.ogg
and replace alarm.ogg by any sound you prefer

how do i switch back to the default crash sounds? they seem to be missing even if the custom ones are set to false. do i just uninstall the mod as a whole?
