A solid last gen build with parts off ebay would get you close... My system has a MSI PC Pro Z270 (ATX) motherboard, Intel i7 7700 CPU, 16gb (4x4) of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM, AMD RX Vega 64 GPU and a 850w (80+G) PSU. With rather aggressive air cooling I can run Beam.NG without dropping below 60fps, with traffic.

Yeah, don’t get last gen parts off eBay.
Buy a ryzen 7 of some sort, pair it with a 1660 super, midrange mobo and 16gb of ram. That’s really all you’ll need.

Ryzen is the way to go. Intel is awful in comparison due to the game assigning one vehicle per thread and Ryzen will give a lot more threads than a equally priced Intel CPU.

CPU - 3900X is the best CPU for your needs. It has 12 cores and 24 threads which will allow you to go crazy spawning stuff.

CPU cooler - I added a aftermarket cooler since this CPU can draw a lot of power under heavy load and keeping it cool with also help with performance.

Motherboard - Didn't get anything fancy here. It will support the CPU out of the box

RAM - Yes I got 32GB of RAM. Yes I know 32GB of RAM will not be needed for this game or really any game. The reason why I went with 32GB of RAM over 16GB is because in simple terms 32GB with give Ryzen more performance and if you want to a technical answer read this article https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-3000-best-memory-timings,6310-2.html

SSD - It has a NVME SSD that is 1TB.

GPU - Beamng really isn't a GPU heavy game so a 5700 XT will be more than plenty. This is a CPU heavy game which is why I dumped extra money into the RAM and CPU instead of the GPU.

Case - Tempered glass. Mesh front. What isn't to love about this case. They have a RGB version for like ~$100 if you want something a bit fancier looking and get better cooling as a result

PSU - I got a great PSU. This is based on the Seasonic Focus Plus platform.
