I got BeamNG a couple of days ago, i really like the game, but after a few minutes my game gets a big lag issue, i tried to fix it with downgrading my graphics, but it doesn't help, and my gaming laptop is getting very warm while i have nothing running in the background, and yes i dont play with mods.

Hi, your CPU is not that much better than the recommended spec for BeamNG., while your GPU is slightly below the recommended spec. However, since the laptop is becoming of age now, I highly recommend you repaste it, especially since you mentioned it is getting hot while idling. This sounds like thermal throttling.

Hey there, you have the exact same specs as me, and I've had issues with BeamNG lagging too. A few things, I'd recommend:

-Make sure your laptop is plugged in while playing (this makes a huge difference!)
-Make sure your laptop has the High Performance power plan enabled
-If available, make sure your laptops thermal management is set to High Performance. This sets the laptops fans to a higher speed, keeping it cooler while you're able to get more power out of it (For me, I set my thermal profile to Performance in Alienware Command Center)
-Make sure your laptop fans are clear of dust. This is also a cause of higher temperatures at low usage.
-I'd suggest propping the back of your laptop up, that way the fans have better airflow (This has made a big difference for me as well)
-Try keeping Resource Monitor open in the background (which can be opened by pressing the Windows key, and typing in Resource Monitor). This way, if you experience and fps drops, you can switch back to Resource Monitor, click Monitor in the top left, and click Stop Monitoring. You can then see what application caused the drop (spike in CPU usage), if any.
-Also in Resource Monitor, check where the blue line is on the CPU graph. While playing, it should be at the top, with the Maximum Frequency being over 100%. If the CPU maximum frequency drops, this most likely means that the laptop is reducing power to the CPU due to heat, in order to prevent any problems. And as a result, the CPU usage can actually max out at a value lower than 100%.
-If nothing above works, I'd then suggest doing what Gregory TheGamer suggested.

Hope this helps! If you need any clarification, just let me know! :D
