So, one day I searched for crashing games, and I stumbled upon a certain game called 'Crash Simulator 2' a game using what they even call 'JBeams' to make realistic damage, while using a open world sandbox that looks a lot like gridmap, and, if you search 'BeamNG Drive' in the App Store, it comes up with other versions with Russian Add-ons, and other stuff, all published by a company called 'Art Ivano' I am wondering if the Devs and other employees know about this and could this count as copyright infringement? Or is this just useless?
Yup there was a post bout' this before. It is poorly designed ripped straight from beamng if I'm correct the devs know right @tdev --- Post updated --- I also found a spintires ripoff see my "iOS app has potentially stolen content "
That's very interesting. --- Post updated --- I looked up Crash Simulator 2. I swear that it's pretty much a direct ripoff of BeamNG.Drive. The level I saw looks too much like Gridmap. However, I kinda like this car from the game.
Plus, games like that could give the app users some hope to one day play BeamNG.Drive on their phones. I mean, other games like Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto was ported onto phones, and I've even seen some people play them on their phones. Maybe the car could be made a Burnside.
Are you implying that those cars are not ripped off another game? Last time I checked, there were plenty of Flatout 2-3 cars in there.
Its sickening that people are willing to take other's hard work and use it for profit without even crediting others
I never said anything about that, but now that you mention it, the similarities between those cars and Flatout 2-3 cars are errie.... Really the whole game is just a Russian mod Frankenstein, combining being, Flatout, and other games to make a mess that can be yours for only $1.99! or something like that --- Post updated --- Yeah, I mean, that loop on their 'gridmap' is almost the Exact same as beamngs --- Post updated --- Yeah, I mean, that Looks a little more like a car you see on Vegas Rat Rods...
Yah it's so dumb when that do that and when you play the actual game the graphics and physics are horable
Actually, BeamNG has been recreated on the App Store several times. Remember the Russians? They receated the game called Beam.DE. You start on a land of grids, (kinda like Gridmap) and you can choose any vehicle you want and crash it anytime.
It's just to draw in those kids who have watched BeamNG videos on large channels who think that the game would be on Mobile, then they pay like 79p for a ripoff game.. edit: So I installed one of these on my phone, A FREE ONE, before anyone says I support the devs... It bared resemblance by copying a certain area of GridMap, a literal copy of the spawn area. one gameplay and you know...
