This is a contest to see who can post the best car crash video. With the physics and such in BeamNG that part shouldn't be very tough; but there are other criteria, which are listed further down.

    __

    RULES:

    - Please, please, please upload to YouTube. This one should be pretty obvious.

    - Max of 1 entry per person.

    - Though I can't imagine anyone doing this, this forum is full of surprises: please don't complain at your score. It's final. Sorry if it isn't what you wanted, but just use that as a building point for the next contest (if that happens).

There will be a maximum of 10 entries. After 10 entries have been posted or five days have passed (whichever comes first), the competition is closed and the entries will be judged. If there are less than three entries, the contest will not be judged and the closing date extended. There is no prize for winning, other than the satisfaction of knowing that you've won. This is just for fun. All entries will be scored out of 20, and whoever gets the highest score wins. If this has been done before, I apologize (but wouldn't be surprised, even though a search didn't turn anything up), but even in that case it could be fun to do again.

    __

The contest will be judged by me and one other person possibly depending on how many entries are submitted. I'd appreciate it if anybody could volunteer; however, I will only be working with one other judge. The entries will be judged on the following criteria:

    - Editing. You don't have to have a professional editing program (e.g. Sony Vegas, Final Cut) to edit a video, though entries using those programs are obviously acceptable. By editing, this doesn't mean things such as color correction or cropping, though those also won't hurt your score. In the editing category you WILL be judged on things such as camera angles and cutting unimportant things out of the footage.

    - Conciseness. Please don't make an extremely long driving movie if only 1/8th of it is the actual crash. The only thing that would be judged is that 1/8th, and that would be a waste of time on your part.

    - Sense of reality. What I want to say here is realisticness, but that's not a word... Anyways, pretty self explanatory. Realistic contributing conditions of a crash are essential to the quality of your movie. For example, if it's a crash because, say one person's headlights are out and they can't see where there going, that would get more points than a car veering off of the road for no apparent reason. If that is what you'd want to submit, than at least make the car blow a tire.

    - Overall quality. Me, and, if applicable, whoever helps me judge, have an overall sense of quality, just like everyone else. If we feel that all of the criteria are matched but it is still not very high quality, your score will be less.

    __

    Have fun! :)
