Because my pc is so bad, I have to play on servers with a maximum of 4 people. And for some bloody reason many of those people treat those servers as if they own it. NO YOU DON'T! IF YOU WERE LITERATE ENOUGH AND DIDN'T HAVE THE PATIENCE OF A 2 YEAR OLD IT SAYS ON THE FLIPPING WEBSITE PRIVATE SERVERS ARE FREE!!!! I honestly can't count how many times I get asked to go away or just have people full on crash into me signifying they don't want me here. If you limit the servers to 0mb mods and play with a maximum of 4 people it'll basically be Christmas by the time people actually like you in their servers and cooperate with you and actually have fun. The last time that happened to me was actually some of the most fun times I had playing online with other people. And if your excuse to not making a private server is "oh I don't know how and I'm bad with computers" then youtube and Google are your friends. Sick and tired of this now the chances of me being welcome in a server is 10%. Sorry if that seems to have come as aggressive or unnecessary, I just want to vent at this with people who may understand.
I actually prefer more players, it’s more fun. If you are unsatisfied you can decrease the max player limit on your beammp home page and remove players in-game by going to radial menu and going to manage, and remove current --- Post updated --- No people cannot just create a private server. It is pretty complicated. If you want to play with your friends outside you need to A. Have an a powerful computer to run the server (you can use your current pc but you need some extra set up) B. Set up the server configuration text file C. do port forwarding, which can only be done by accessing the Router home page on a web browser. The entire process of making a server takes at least 2 hours and advanced computer skills. Most people cannot figure this out, and seems like your one of them too. I have done this before but it’s a long process that just isn’t worth it. (Unless you wanna set up a lan server which is easy and awesome) Anyways, try to join smaller servers --- Post updated --- Maybe you have lesser social skills, I have had no prior issues with communicating on there, and had some people who actually knew me from my youtube which was quite awesome, and made some discord friends
what do you expect most people with computers that bad are children borrowing their parents pentium tower lol
You mean "Empty", "Not empty", and "Not full" options. The max player limit does not exist yet on BeamMP. --- Post updated --- Yeah, I do have a computer which cannot support over 5 vehicles... Well, I live with it and don't complain.
I bought the pc with no intention of playing games on it and I want to get my money's worth out of it so I'm not upgrading very soon. I have set up a server for one of my friends in real life and yes I'll admit it took a while (main problem was figuring out which IP address I had to enter for my pc lol) but there are tutorials out there which are helpful. I ran it with my own pc and didn't notice too much frame loss. And about my social skills, I say a simple hello in those servers and I get told "get out you ugly F***" and I once got told in Russian "get out or else you are gay and drink cum" or something along those lines. And there are obvious signs I am uninvited like people node grabbing their car and repeatedly destroying mine when I reset the car. If you have too much free time then launch beammp and go to a server with 0 mods, server not full or empty and a maximum of 3 or 4 people then I guarantee you a few of those servers will have the things I'm complaining about. If you don't get anything then you must be a lucky one or I am cursed with this.
