beam.ng drive not functioning offline?

I go to start the game up offline and it won't load the proxy bar at start up, it says it's not supposed to need an Internet connection to play.

 

You must be trying to run the updater. Click on the Beamng.drive on your desktop, and when it asks if you want to update, say no.

 

It doesn't have a update option, it just goes state to the proxy thing

Hehe desktop shortcut automatically runs the updater

 

Just click the cancel button unless you know there's an update.
