Beam MP on CrossOver Mac (M1) Hints? Anyone?

Hi everyone, I am using BeamNG Drive via CrossOver Mac and it is running very smoothly by now for some years.

I had been able to get Beam MP working a few versions back (using a Mac specific launcher I found on Reddit) setting up a Multiplayer party with two fellow Windows buddies. This week we tried again in 0.35 and even though there was some success

• the launcher updated ok
• I was able to log into my Beam MP account
• When connecting to the server my buddies saw my user name appear
• I was able to spawn vehicles into the map and drive them

But the following problems always persisted (especially number 3 on the list):

• When initially spawning it always spawns two vehicles instead of one
• It spawns them at the bottom of the map (for example underwater etc.)
• I can see the windows users vehicles BUT they can't see mine

So fellow CrossOver Mac M1 gamers: I wonder if someone of you has managed to get Beam MP working on 0.35.x?
Fixes? Hints? Tips? Wild guesses? Anything appreciated.
