Im working on a B2 Stealth Bomber right now, its my first, well technically second plane ive tried to model.
    The first one was horrible:/
But anyways, there is no interior yet, and i cant guarentee that i will continue on this project, as of i give up easily ones i hit a dead end.:(
It has 1728 verts right now, it might not be the best looking plane but it is something:)
Here is some pics though: B2SBpic1.png B2SBpic2.png

You should build it to scale :p

You know.. With a 52 meter wingspan and all, they're bloody giant. Times yours by about 5..

I mean building it to scale, yours is FAR too small, your wingspan is only like 9m right now, the real one has a wingspan of 52m..

Yes it just needs to be scaled up, here's what I mean about wingspan

    (imported from here)

Yours is currently around 9 meters from A to B, it should be 52 meters, so scale the whole thing up until it's 52 meters long from A to B, then it will be a 1:1 scale model. :)

At first, when I saw the title, I thought you meant you were making one of these (didn't read the whole title, only read the "B2" part):
    B2.JPG
    Silly me...

Anyway, this is looking great so far! Looks like it's going to be a blast to fly around once the Jbeam work is done :D

Actaully i was also thinking about modeling a tank(M1 Abrams)
    Abrams-transparent.png

But its too difficult, so im gonna go for a tank more simpler than the M1 Abrams.

But im gonna finish this Stealth Bomber first.
And i cant J-Beam so someone needs to do that, can you do that? if you have some expierience?
    Anyways thanks for the compliment:)

Just an FYI, tank treads are currently impossible to simulate in BeamNG. They require a slidenodes, which will likely not be incorporated into the engine for two or three months at the earliest. Still, it'll likely take a while to model and texture that thing anyway.

Great choice of plane, by the way.

Yeah i would guess that but, for now we can have one without tracks:D
Cause it would be cool to crush things with a big tank lol
    Anyways thanks:)

Tank threads are impossible to simulate currently, tho, tank movement (given that the threads are static) is still possible to make possible. Tho I would not recommend making a tank in this game as of yet as it would have to have the same complexity as 2-3 cars, given the amount of drive wheels it needs and the sheer complexity of the JBeam you'd need to make it drive. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's quite possible that it would lag as much as 3-4 cars spawned in at the same time.

I'm not saying I want something completely fictional, but if making it spot-on realism wise puts too much stress on you, don't quit, just make it something like the X-18 Fighter, people will still love it, simply because it's cool. So don't quit on this if it get's too painstaking, we all want to see it finish, be it a B-2 or something fictional! :)

I would be very interested to see if you could make it fly in game wihout fudging the jbeam.

IRL these are kept in the air by computers, aerodynamically they are compromised as their purpose is to avoid radar detection via an ultra thin cross section, so no vertical stabilizers are used. They use computer assistance to make thousands of tiny adjustments continuously to the available flying surfaces to make up for this, something a pilot could never achieve. Without these adjustments, they would just end up dropping out of the sky.

It is a very cool model and an outside of the box concept though!
