   I read a few old threads about how the game no longer automatically updates, this is now only possible with Steam. However, are there any plans to re-implement an automatic update method that does not involve 3rd party platforms like Steam?

   We currently use two platforms:
   

   • Steam (automatic updates)
   • Humble Bundle (contains a Steam Key + DRM-Free versions of the game, which are to be updated manually)

   There are no methods to get automatic updates without Steam.
