The addition of automatic locking hubs for the 4WD D-Series has been very nice. I do however find it detrimental from time to time as with the older manual locking hubs one was able to shift to low range and then disengage the hubs to get a pseudo-2WD low. Sometimes 4WD is excessive, for example when attempting a steep paved incline with a heavy load. This is a scenario I found myself unlocking my hubs and switching to low range. In addition, manual hubs are desired by some as they are typically vastly more durable than the typical vacuum-driven automatic hubs. A durability difference may justify bringing back the manual hubs. Overall the automatic hubs are very nice but there is a certain group of individuals myself included that would like to see manual hubs make a comeback in addition to the automatic hubs. Love the game overall and would like to see lots of variety for 4WDs.
