automatic gear box problems

    When i have and automatic gear box equipped in any car i can shift between PRD21. However when i put it in Drive and start driving the transmission will not shift from first gear. the manual transmissions work just fine. i tried disabling all mods and clearing the cashe neither worked

    What device are you using to drive?
    Can you make sure your clutch/brake isn't being slightly pressed? (Use the 'Pedals' app - Editing_UI )

    Take a screenshot of the following:
    - Pedals app
    - Options > Gameplay
    - Controls > Hardware

    You can use ALT+O to take screenshots, and then copy here the links you get.

    turns out its because me break is pressed down a tad bit apparently. only by one measure. crazy

    As I thought.
    You need to add deadzone to your pedal, so that it register exactly 'zero' when you are not pressing it.

    Do that from the CONTROLS menu.
