    Good day all,

Is it possible to make a sequential gearbox that auto clutches when you stop, using the already available powertrain options? (Without using auto clutch of course)

I know that you can do this in the Cherrier without mods. Just use the Clutchex AWD transfercase, even if you're running a FWD/RWD configuration. It will work like an auto-clutch when you release the throttle

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but it doesn't seem to be the case. The car will still stall when you come to a stop i.e. the clutch is still engaged. I'm wanting something like Pagani uses for their cars. A manual gearbox that autoshifts if you will.

That is what I'm currently using. But what Pagani uses isn't a DCT. It's a Single Clutch transmission :D
The difference between the two is shift times of course, but also the kick that you get when you change gears. The shifts aren't as smooth as a DCT. I might end up copying the sequential shift logic and adding an auto-clutch feature/ modifying the existing one but making it the default.
Thanks for the help in any case :)

Automated manuals are not supported out of the box, but as you already said, it shouldn't be too hard to make a new shiftLogic file for that sort of thing based on either the manual or sequential code.

Ah. I see. Thank you. Any chance they might be implemented later?

Dunno, it's a fairly niche thing and there's not really much use for it if you have DCTs...
Certainly not planned at the moment.

You could use a DCT, but I think if you adjust the two shift parameters / gear change times (preselected gear and non-preselected gear) to be the same, I'm pretty sure that it would act exactly the same as a single clutch type that you are describing. If you delete the "P" and the"D" from the "PRNDM" list, it would lose the automatic shifting option and would be full manual shifting, but autoclutch-in when stopped.

I did try this. The problem is that the controller still seems to keep the revs ups resulting in a planetary-gear-automatic-like shift. So very smooth, but very slow.
