Attached/Inserted Pictures Downloading

I could not find this topic by searching and the problem did just start today.

When i click on a picture that was inserted into the text of a forum post, not uploaded as attachment, my browser does instantly download this picture. Not cool.
Im used to have the picture viewer open it and let me browse to all pictures of the post, or sometimes even the whole side. Using Chrome myself, but a friend of mine who uses firefox has the same problem today.
As i dont have the slightest interest to download every single picture to see it bigger than in its preview size, i would apreciate some info or help on this.
