Hello! I encountered an issue with integrating a Spider-Man 3D model on the roof of a car in the game. Here's the sequence of my actions: In Blender, I created and connected 3D objects, then rendered the model. After that, I replaced the render of the model 5ec80_mesh.dae. To fully integrate the model into the game, I created a file named Spider-ManBody.jbeam and placed it in the necessary game folder. However, despite completing all these steps, the Spider-Man model still does not appear on the roof of the car in the game. I need help figuring out what additional actions I should take to solve this problem. I would greatly appreciate any information or advice on this matter. Also, base mod: Maza 7b8b
Thanks for the help! I haven't added the flexbody for these nodes yet. Could you please provide guidance on how to do it correctly?
inside of your jbeam file there is a section called "Flexbodys" it looks like this(this is from my mod). You will than take the name of the objedt on your DAE file and put it in the spot of the model you want to replace(you need to have a material on the object and the object name not the file name)
Thanks for your response! I’ve made some changes and attached screenshots. Can you check them out and let me know if it looks right? Any advice on what else I could improve? Thanks again!
Looks fine I don’t know about the mod, but from what I can see it looks good as long as all the proper names are there and the models have materials. You will be good. Also, I would highly suggest not using node-beam as it will usually cause the JB file to explode .
I followed your advice, but unfortunately, the Spider-Man model isn't appearing on the roof as expected Do you think it might be a good idea to link the new 3D model with the main 5ec80_main.jbeam file? What are your thoughts on adding the necessary data to the 'slots' section? I've attached a screenshot displaying the current contents for reference. Any additional recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks once again!
you can try to use the temp material to see if that is the problem if that doesn't work you can just go thru everything to troubleshoot
