Hello ! For playing with my G25, I actually try to find a pretty good simultaion game, I know you all gonna say "Assetto corsa" But it's still 10€ more than Project cars, and have less cars. I don't want a full simulation extreme realistic game, juste a pretty cool "simulation", which I can play with my G25. Thanks for your awnser
a very simplified opinion is that Assetto Corsa is the better racing simulator, and Project Cars is the better car game. basic list: Assetto Corsa Pros: Great aerodynamics simulation Good tire simulation and track surface simulation, but is slightly more simplified than more pure sims like Rfactor 2 Amazing force feedback and driver sense - few games are as good as Assetto Corsa in telling you whats going on at all times through tactile force feedback, visuals and sounds. lazerscanned tracks - to those who have never played a game with lazerscanned tracks and a force feedback wheel... it can hard to go back to any game without them. Cons "few" tracks & cars compared to Project cars (Still has many big name ones), and DLC is paid graphics are good but not astounding, though in terms of "pure" sim games more in line with Rfactor and Iracing: Assetto Corsa is better looking. no weather settings beyond temperature change (yet). multiplayer can be sparce at times in terms of populated tracks, though its never fully empty. Project cars Pros: Fantastic Graphics & sound, better than Assetto Corsa weather effects plenty 'o cars can run tons of ai and has a large playerbase; online matches are plenty and mods are easy to get. Cons poor force feedback, aerodynamics and physics compared to Assetto Corsa, though good for a car game. Some lazerscanned tracks but some not simplified tire heat and wear model; allows for decent optimization and lots of cars at one time but is lacking in the handling department for a sim game. could use more race cars. Project cars more resembles a hardcore Forza or Gran Turismo; Car games that provide stunning visuals, track selection and sound but may be somewhat lacking in terms of car control, handling and other various areas of simulation to the person who wants a realistic sim game. Assetto Corsa is a Sim game that has tried hard to be nice and easy to use, while compromising as little as it can to still be sim-quality worthy, but still falls slightly behind a few other pure sims in terms of simulation. If you want a comparison of where Beamng's car simulation would compare , in its current state it would probably fall somewhere in between the two; Beamng beats Project Cars in terms of Raw simulation, but lacks some features like tire heating, wear and track surface stuff that Assetto Corsa does at the current moment to make its simulation comparable. If you want a fun car game get Project Cars, if you want a sim get Assetto Corsa
Thanks for all of your awnsers The choice gonna be hard, because AC seems way better than PC, but PC still cost 10 € less than AC.
I realize this post is almost 2 years old, but I think it's worth responding to since I partly made a decision to purchase AC based on it (and then got my money back). BeamNG is way more realistic than AC when it comes to physics. BeamNG uses real physics to simulate a vehicle's movement, whereas AC uses pseudo-physics to kind of emulate the real thing, but it falls short in some areas, especially when a car gets airborne. I could really tell the movement was scripted. It may not bother most people who play AC, but it bothered me. I prefer real physics simulators. The only other game that I know & play that uses real physics is Mud Runner (for motion - damage is scripted).
