I really want to learn how to use the world editor. But I have no idea how to use it, and when I try to figure it out myself I seem to figure some things out, like how to draw roads and make terrain, but I hit a dead end when I want to add textures and models (such as trees and buildings). On top of that, I don't know how to make the truck stop falling through the terrain. So does anyone know any good tutorials or guides on using it?

That is outdated and barely helpful at all. That thread needs to be retired. I gave up trying to make a map, because most of the info is wrong and I have to trudge through error after error. To give you a few: -Heightmaps only work in specific folder (not mentioned) -I followed his steps for using the stock assets (textures etc.). Some of them worked, some of them didn't show up at all (road textures for example). -Saving and loading the map doesn't seem to work right, at least the way I'm doing it. -File saving/access is really not intuitive at all. Seems like things have to be in certain places in the newest version. It's sad because the actual EDITOR is relatively easy to use. Just getting the damn files to load and work right is the issue (at least mine).
If you want to get started with the editor. Watch my channel there I have a tutorial on how to get started with folders etc
