Are staff team mods experiments for testing of Beamng.research?

This is not a bug, but the category of this says "Ask questions and get answers" so I have a question:
Are the Messerschmitt Me262's missiles and the Phoulkon CIWS (both made by @Stoat Muldoon ) tests for LIDAR and Radar respectively for BeamNG.research, as their real-life counterparts (an AIM-9 Sidewinder/German IRIS-T mix, and Phalanx CIWS/SeaRAM) use the same systems/similar systems that are in testing on BeamNG.research?

I think hope those are not being used for BeamNG.Research, otherwise we might see Audi selling death race cars soon.
