Okay I'm a bit confused here, I've drawn up a picture to be added ontop of a heightmap I created to tell me where the roads are to be placed, but in texture map I have RGB channels all same picture. When I select import, I just have a grid. I am confused how do I just "stretch" a texture overtop of my heightmap, the heightmap works great, but there's no texture for me to reference where to paint. Anyways, I've tried following this confusing thing this guy said, where the texture needs to be in "Assuming you have one set of files in C:\PATH, you'll need a copy in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\BeamNG.drive\PATH. For example, if your texture maps are in C:\Users\Ouerbacker\Documents\BeamNG.drive (next to your terrain file), you'll need a copy of them in C:\Users\Ouerbacker\Documents\BeamNG.drive\Users\Ouerbacker\Documents\BeamNG.drive (where the editor thinks it has to look)." I don't even want to touch that pile of confusion with a ten foot pole, I tried making exactly what this guys directory is with my username, and I'm still at a loss. Why can't I just right click my terrain, click "add texture map" and be done with it. Is there something I am missing? --- Post updated --- Wait it appears I had this same question a long time ago, and since I've spent time away from this game, I neglected to even remember that I had an answer and was able to work on the map I started! http://www.beamng.com/threads/importing-satellite-image.14808/#post-232878 I have to meticulously paint it though, but I mean it's better than nothing atm. If there's any updated command since then, not some jerry-rigged system, let me know.
