Anyone here used to play Need For Speed: World?

Hi. So i was a player of Need For Speed: World until the shut down of the servers. I can't understand why EA give up one of their best Free To Play titles but time has come for NFS: World to leave. Anyone played this game before?
Almost forgot. I wish that EA or someone make an offline patch for Need For Speed: World

If you Want to play online Its Called Soapbox Race World its Basically an Online Addon so it makes the game online Again
