This is something I've been wanting to do for a couple weeks now. Ask if there's anyone on the forums from anywhere specific. A country, state/providence, city, continent... whatever you like! Rules: Keep it to a call and response. If you're from a place someone else is from, pop in and say hello, and then ask if there's anyone from somewhere else. Responses don't need to be consecutive to the call ("-Anyone here from Brazil? -Is there anyone from Canada? -Hey! I'm from Brazil! Olá, bom dia!... anyone from Australia?"), so there's no need to police responses that don't fall into this pattern. Some back-and-forth is fine, but be respectful of your fellow forum-goers. Try to keep it grounded. No fictional places (Narnia, anyone?), nowhere extremely vague (Earth?), too specific (anyone at these coordinates?), or unlikely (where my North Korea homies at?). Feel free to share what it's like where you're at, but for our sakes, try to steer clear of politics, and for your sake, please don't over-share personal details. I'd love to know what it's like where you're at, but I don't need your street address! And in case it needs to be said, do NOT ask leading or pointed questions about major events, disasters, war, race, ethnicity, colonialism, etc. If there is a place where such things need to be grappled with, I don't think this is it. So, let's kick this thing off. Any fellow midwesterners here?
OMG IS THAT A BRAZIL REFERENCE?!?!?!!!??!?!?!?!!? BRASIL MENCIONADO HUEHUEHUEBR anyways, anyone from southern brazil?
From? No, Missouri for me. But I've lived outside of Orlando, Florida for coming up on 10 years now, so I guess you could consider me a local to the region. I enjoy the winters and fear the summers... Edit: Anyone here from Australia or New Zealand?
Fun Fact!In English, it is no longer correct to say Turkey as a country, it's ''Turkiye'' Same goes with Czech Republic as Czechs want their country to be referred as ''Czechia'' OT: Anyone from Poland?
