Any way to turn off particles in order to improve frame rate?

    hi,
    (i did look around to see if this had been asked but was unsuccessful, sorry if im just blind)
    Is there anyway to turn off the mud/ dust effect particles as it really lags my game out when immersed with them.. if not thank you!
